Have your lights gone out? Is your toaster, frankly, toast? Have the moths been at your jumpers?
Don’t worry – FREE help is at hand. The Eyam Repair Café is here!
It will be part of a worldwide network that aims to repair items rather than throwing them out. This saves people money and cuts down the huge amounts of stuff going to landfill.
Our team of volunteer repairers will tackle small electrical items (toasters, hairdryers, lamps, radios etc) and mend clothing.
Where and when?
The second Saturday of each month 10am - 2pm starting in February 2019 at Eyam Church Centre. Dates for the first 3 meetings:
Saturday 9 February, Saturday 9 March, Saturday 13 April
There is no charge, but donations are welcome. Anyone is welcome – you don’t need to be an Eyam resident. Just turn up on the day with your item(s) for repair, then relax and enjoy a free cuppa whilst your things are fixed.
We’d love to hear from anyone interested in joining our team of repairers if you can do any one or more of the following:
arment repairs, electrical repairs, mechanical repairs. Or if you can help serve in the kitchen too.

We usually have a Community lunch on the first Friday of each month.
If you can help by providing soup, cake or help on the day please call into the Church Centre or phone 01433 630930. Our proceeds go to Charity.
